A brand new hotel upgrade means that our rooms are more comfortable than ever. We’ve integrated new convenience and luxury features such as an improved air-conditioning system and electronic keycard access to rooms. So guests can rest assured that security is of prime importance to the hotel.

Plus, guests now have access to complimentary wireless internet in all rooms, leisure and conference areas.

Rooms are either fitted with one double or two single beds and boast views of the city and the landmark Union Buildings, particularly spectacular at night.

– Check-in time is from 14h00 to 19h00. Where possible early arrivals may be accommodated.
– Check-out time is at 10h00 daily.
– Our ability to accommodate you depends on the availability of rooms.

In case of an emergency, your safety is our concern. Please inform the front desk upon check-in if there is a guest with any disability in the room. We appreciate your assistance in this matter.

• Mini -bar facilities are available in each room and will be stocked with fresh milk. Please notify the Guest house of any special requirements. A list of prices of mini-bar items, as well as room service will be provided in each room. Any items consumed from the Mini Bar will be payable on departure.
• Only food and beverages (including alcoholic and soft drinks) purchased on the Guest house premises may be consumed at the Guest house. We do not permit you to bring your own liquor to your room
• No food deliveries from external companies such as , Uber Eats or Mr Delivery will be allowed.

Guests are reminded that all valuables, jewellery or money should be placed in the Room Safe available in every bedroom wardrobe.

Hotel 224 cannot be held liable for any loss or damaged property.

PLEASE LEAVE YOUR SAFE DOOR OPEN WHEN DEPARTING THE ROOM

Programming your code:

• With the safe door open, press the red button “C” on the back of the door near the hinge, release it and you will hear two beeps.
• The yellow light will be on at the same time.
• Now keep the safe door open and enter 3 to 8 numbers on the keypad you wish to use as a combination and confirm by pressing the letter A or B within 15 seconds.
• Repeat this step. The safe “beeps” twice and the yellow light goes off.
• Your personal code is now set.
• Write down your new combination immediately and check whether your new combination has been programmed.
• The safe needs to be open when entering the new combination.
